Radio Teen Talk™ is devoted to giving a meaningful and powerful radio/media voice to teens of Southwest Mississippi and surrounding areas. This program is sponsored by The Norwood Kids Foundation in association Heaven 11 (WAKK). Radio Teen Talk™ is student driven, promoting young people's intellectual, creative, and professional growth through training and access to media.

Training taught by industry professionals
Through hands-on practice, working relationships with industry professionals, Radio Teen Talk™ teens will learn the basics of broadcasting. In the process, they are exposed to a broad spectrum of media-related careers. Through this program teens well get a radio media journalism education. In addition, Radio Teen Talk™ teens will strengthen their foundation in basic "life-skills": verbal expression, writing, computer technology, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and more.
Our hope is Radio Teen Talk™ will serve to ignite teen
interest, teen expressions and teen participation creating an
impetus for positive change.
