TO SCHOOL - 2002
|
Time to get back into the
swing of things! The Fall 2002 Semester has already begun for
some of you, and for others, it is only just about to start. This
new year will bring new challenges that will make the year rewarding
as well as memorable! Remember to stay focused on your studies
and keep striving for success!

IT'S BACK TO SCHOOL TIME
The Norwood
Kids' summer vacation is over. It's back to school time!!! For June,
NFK had the pleasure of participating in the play called Heaven's Gates
and Hell's Flame. The kids worked very hard to make this play come together.
Parts for the play were learned on Saturday and production started on
Sunday. You go Norwood Kids!
For most
of July many of the Norwood Kids vacationed in other states causing cancellation
in many of our practices. The opportunity to travel to different states
gave the kids the experience of learning and seeing the different cultures
of states such as Arizona, Texas, Florida, Georgia, California, Tennessee,
and Louisiana.
For the month
of July the NFK, as a group, took several leisure trips: one to the Baton
Rouge Louisiana Zoo, Skate Galaxy in McComb, and the Reservoir in Jackson,
Mississippi. The NFK really has had a great summer.
We would
like to recognize one of our fellow members who decided to go to summer
school to improve her grades. She also received awards and recognition
for her efforts.
British Jackson received
three certificates for:
1.)Reading, Language Art, and Math
2.)Perfect Attendance Award
3.) Good Conduct (A) |
That's right,
it's never too late to work on your grades.
Now everyone is back in town and practice has once again resumed. Currently
the NFK is getting ready for their annual U-Got Talent Showcase in August.
This year we are planning for an even greater and better year than last
year.
Don't forget
to check out the photo
gallery for the cast and crew for Heaven's Gate and Hell's
Flame.
